Tips for Styling a Home Office

Tips for Styling a Home Office

With so many people working from home these days- we thought it would be good to do a post on styling a home office. My husband has been working from home the last 2.5 years after years of traveling to NYC for work. The last couple of months he mentioned he really wanted a cool backdrop for his office for when he does his zoom meetings. He wanted his office to represent his personality and just feel more like a space he wants to be in. This is the backdrop he decided on HERE

  1. Color- Opt for colors that can focus and calm the mind. Colors such as neutrals, blues, and greens are ones to keep in mind. Typically, bright hues can lead to restlessness and can disrupt focus easier.
  1. Storage- Keeping your space organized is key. A home office with sufficient storage helps to keep things organized and in place. Here are some top storage containers that we recommend for offices HERE.
  1. Décor- When it comes to a home office space keep décor to a minimum to allow for ultimate focus and to create calmer and inviting area. Basic décor to start with we recommend wall art HERE, plants, good lighting HERE and rugs to create an inviting area HERE. Add a fun background- While you are on those zoom meetings add a fun backdrop that conveys your personality or represents your style. Here are some of our favorite murals.

Happy Styling! Can't wait to see what you do with your home space.

XOXO, Tasha + Lori
