About Us

Lori Frost has lived in seven states, and some of them multiple times, but Utah is where she calls home. She’s mostly a homebody but loves some good girl time and spending Saturdays on the lake with her family. She has four children and has been married to her high school sweetheart for 18 years.

While working toward her degree in vocal performance, Lori started teaching herself how to use Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. She learned how to design patterns and quickly fell in love with the process. She's now been a Surface Pattern Designer for more than 15 years! Lori is experienced in creating designs for wallpaper, fabric, swimwear, art, digital products, and tech accessories. Her designs have been selected and sold by Anthropologie, Nordstrom, West Elm, Minted, Casetify, and more.

As a self-taught artist and entrepreneur, she’s passionate about education. She loves encouraging other artists to become more business minded in what they do so they can build a career doing what they love.

What started out as an idea on paper has grown into a thriving family-owned and operated business. Lori is grateful for the support of her family, the entire Ayara team, and Ayara's partners in the design industry. She hopes to continue transforming homes with Ayara wallpaper for years to come!
